Sex robots could soon replace porn stars in adult movies – one just starred in an erotic sci-fi TV series called “Future Darkly”
February 17, 2019PNT commentary: Considering all the hysteria within the American porn industry talent pool revolving around STDs (namely HIV) and stigma – the Porn News Today Collective is quite certain many directors would welcome the idea of biological performers being replaced with “sex-bots”. As of current – the mentality of many adult content producers is that performers are “disposable” as it is… so why not create adult content utilizing robots that can LITERALLY be taken out to the garbage dump once they’re either old, broken or simply no fun to play with anymore?
SEX-BOTS are now starring in adult movies as a new 18+ “erotic sci-fi TV series” airs online.
The series, dubbed Future Darkly, is described as an “erotic version of Black Mirror”, revealing strange futuristic scenarios – in this case, a world filled with randy robot companions.
Each episode features a standalone sci-fi storyline, and the first episode – ‘The Aura Doll’ – focuses on sex-bot relationships of the future.
The episode focuses on a young woman called Becca, who meets up with an older man named Robert, who wants to participate in a threesome.
But rather than invite another lady or gentleman to his bonking session, Robert wants to bring his “special companion” Harper.
Harper, as it turns out, is a “blonde, curvaceous and very lifelike silicon” sex-bot.
“I believe we are one of the first mainstream porn companies to shoot a threesome scene featuring a synthetic woman,” said Bree Mills, who wrote and directed the episode.
Speaking to The Sun, Mills said: “We’ve certainly been floored by the overwhelmingly positive reception to this scene, which I believe is one of the first in mainstream porn to feature a full sexual encounter with a silicone woman.
“I am strongly considering developing a series of shorts that is just devoted to sex with dolls because, when shot in an artistic way, it is actually quite erotic and beautiful. Something different.”
Mills took inspiration from “real-life doll owners” to portray what love doll companionship is really like.
“I’m not sure if this will mark a turning point in the future of porn overall, but it certainly shows an area of interest that will likely grow as AI and robots do,” Mills told The Sun.
“Synthetic relationships are traditionally seen as being very taboo but, as technology, sexual discourse, and the digital age advances, it is becoming an increasingly hot topic.”
The new season of Future Darkly is six episodes long, and airs between February and July this year.
It’s available on an 18+ streaming service called Adult Time, which has been described as “the Netflix of porn”.
